The truck comes with a high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body. While the body is strong and rigid, it is about 60 pounds lighter than previous models because it was engineered with components that were made with an innovative roll-forming process.
The Ford F-150 also comes with class-exclusive FOX live valve monotube shocks. These shocks provide drivers with superior traction on any terrain. In addition, the truck is equipped with a Torque-On-Demand transfer case that seamlessly applies torque for quick responsiveness from the front to the rear, and the electronic-locking rear differential also locks the axle for a tight grip to both wheels.
